Caroline Abrams avant-garde designs are handmade from French and Italian acetate. Inspired by her childhood in Senegal, Abram's designs incorporate wood, ceramic, cotton, glass, leather, resin, mother of pearl, onyx, turquoise, tiger eye and Swarovsky crystal in her work. The chains are handmade in Senegal. The lenses are made from optical glass which eliminates scratching.

Combining impossible curves and angles, the Filao brand is understated and chic, whilst unashamedly flaunting its love of Parisian romance. Filao is a real fashion-forward item to collect and wear every day.

Each year we import a select range from Caroline’s “Face-a-main” collection. These very special pieces come with a +2.50 lens. Because it is used as a  magnifying glass  a +2.50 works well for most people as typically, it is designed to be brought into focus with the hand. However should you require a special script, in most cases it can be done.
